I got home & started watching the Idaho-Washing Regional LLWS game on ESPN...........
Turned it over to the Hamilton game at 5:00..........
Managed to turn the TV back to see if the other game was over yet, just as I see the tying & winning runs on base & the team in the field throwing the ball away....... As the team in the field is retrieving the ball the tying run is standing on 3B & winning run is on 2B.........No time-out had been called & the 3B coach is trying to tell his kid to go, kid doesn't here him, so he taps him on the back, then gives him a slight push, as he is telling him to go...........

Well, he scores, but 3B Ump calls him out for the coach doing what he did.........Very interesting finish.......LOL

Now back to watching Hamilton LL take a 3-0 lead to the 3rd - Win today & tomorrow & they will be back in Williamsport!

Go Hamilton LL!

My DD just finished her LL All-Star season. It was the best softball summer yet! LL All-Stars was an amazing, positive experience for her and I now understand why so many love LL!

It was the right call. The coach pushed the kid to go home, he aided his runner to help him score. Crappy way to lose but it was the right call.

Years ago saw this in a softball game. We were already in finals and was watching other semi final. Home team at bat in last inning tied. Winning run went 1st to 3rd on a hit but made wide turn around 3rd. Was trying to get back when throw came and got past 3B. Coach reached out and gave a slight push to runner to score. Ump called her out. Inning over and that team lost in ITB
