Is the Newland girl still throwing for Rays 99' ? She was fantastic in both HS and travel last year but kinda had a rocky Soph HS year due to injury . Projected ( by me LOL) as a certain D-1 level thrower.

Dan, Yes Mikayla Newland is still with the Stingrays 99's. She has fully recovered from the injury and is throwing better than ever. You are correct in that she will be a D1 pitcher.
