Winning % change when moving up age groups?

hi guys...curious if anyone has any insight on this one...

as you coaches have moved up in age group with primarily the same group of girls, how much did your winning percentage change when moving up to the next 2 year age group, i.e. 12 to 14 to 16, etc....not 11 to 12 to 13?

example, 12U team goes 25-25 for a .500 winning percentage then moves up to 14U the next year and goes 20-30 for a .400 winning percentage.

This is an incredibly hard question to answer
1. Are the playing the same type of schedule?
2. Do they have the same players?
3. What about the other teams, have they improved?
4. What about the group ahead of them (2nd year 14s) are there a lot of strong teams in that group that they are now having to play?
I don't know that there is any way to truly use winning % comparisons from year to year to evaluate a team. too many variables and probably more that I have not listed.

Each age jump is a challenge and requires a lot of off season prep. First time through with my daughter who is now 17 we stayed with the same group for the most part.

12U second year we played around .700
14U first year we played around .550
14u second year we played around .750

this past season younger daughter we were first year 12u.

at 10U we played around .720

This year first year 12U we played .620 but we really worked hard in the off season knowing how much girls change between 11 and 12

looking for good things this coming season but we likely will play a slightly tougher schedule as well.
