Wittenberg University's softball team will host a pair of summer camps in 2008. A Commuter Skills Day Camp is scheduled for June 23-26 and a One-Day Pitching Camp is scheduled for June 18. The camps will take place at Betty Dillahunt Field - the home field of the Wittenberg Softball Team. The cost of the Commuter Skills Day Camp is $135, with a non-refundable deposit of $50 due by June 20. The cost of the One-Day Pitching Camp is $40, with a non-refundable deposit of $20 due by June 13. Participants of either camp will get a T-shirt.

The Camp Director is Wittenberg Head Coach Becky Hall, who was awarded the distinction of Four-Star Master Coach by the National Fastpitch Coaches Association in 2007. Hall is far and away the coach with the most wins in Wittenberg softball history, and she is also the only coach to ever lead the Tigers to the NCAA Division III Tournament, which she did in 2000 and 2003, winning an opening round game each time. Hall's teams have won one North Coast Athletic Conference (NCAC) regular season title and one NCAC Tournament championship. Also Wittenberg's interim assistant director of athletics and senior woman administrator, Hall has earned NCAC Coach of the Year honors twice in her career.
