Indoor facilities: 3 ? Wizards World 1 & 2, The Barnasium
elite 03 is a group of all 03 birthdays with a core that has been together since 8U. We have built a highly competitive team that actively seeks out top competition to bring the best out of our girls. We had a very successful 10U season with a record of 46-13 with five championships, a final four at Stingrays, and a good showing at ASA/USA Nationals in Johnson City, TN.
We have worked very hard through our transition to 12U as a true 11U team this season. We have gone up against many of the top 02 teams this year and given them all they can handle. We currently have a record of 51-20-2 with 15 of the losses being by one run to a 02 team. We are very proud of our record since moving outdoors this Spring as we are currently 33-7 with multiple championships and a final four at Compuware. We have qualified for ASA Eastern Nationals and the NSA World Series, however we will wrap up our season at the USSA 11U World Series and the All Sanctions World Series in Columbus.
We are expecting big things out of this team in the coming year. We will continue to play a very tough schedule including Breast Cancer Shootout, Best of the Midwest in Indy, Dayton Metro, Lasers, ASA States, Stingrays and ASA Nationals in Salem, VA. We will play in two Fall, four Winter indoors, and nine Spring/Summer tournaments.
We are looking for players with 03 birthdays that are athletic, highly motivated, committed to their sport, and have a strong desire to compete against other top talent. We have the luxury of practicing year round due to multiple indoor facilities, and we typically practice twice a week year round. We have a fantastic group of girls that have a lot of fun together, and a very supportive and friendly group of parents.
The Wizards organization tryout date is set for August 8 in Toledo (more details to come). We will hold private tryouts the week of August 3. Please contact head coach Mike Dorn to schedule. For further information feel free to call.
