Sunday play was cancelled.

Yes it was cancelled shortly after we drove in from Norwalk to Smithville. Wish they would have called it earlier. What can you do though?--the girls want to play and if you cancel too early and the sun comes out you're a bad guy as well.

I think Mr. Johns did a good job as far as letting people know the status of the tounament. Anyone that was in the area after 7 knew that there was going to be a delay on Sun. I got a call around 11 saying 2 hour difference. Then another call Sunday morning @ 7 saying 3 hours. Two calls later(last one @10) saying cancelled. Wish we could have played but I understood .

We also were well informed. I recieved a call around 8am then again at 9:30 and the last call cancelling was at 10am. Luckily we werent scheduled to play until 12:30 so we didnt even have to start our just under 2 hr trek down there but i know that stinks for all the teams that had to play early. Im sure they did all they could there was a substantial amount of rain coming down as we were driving home sat night.
