If my daughter plays for her current team in a 2008 World Series qualifier (USSSA), the team qualifies, and she chooses to play for another team next season, does the current team have to release her?
Thanks

This post has been read several times but like myself, I'm not sure they know the answer. Someone has to know the answer and what a good question this is? Maybe it depends on the team / organization????

The new softball year usually begins right after the National Tournament for whichever sanctioning body you belong to. So, after your DD's team completes the USSSA World Series, the team must resubmit a roster for the new year and any roster usually requires your signature. So you are automatically released unless you sign a new 2008 roster.
