Would you take your daughter to a college skills camp if the team hardly ever wins year after year and they only have 1 girl batting over .300? I've seen some advertise for skills camp but they don't seem to ever do well?!

Depends on if DD wants to go to school there as a player/student. If so...absolutely.

Agree with WalkOffHR; if that is where my DD wants to go; then we go.

I guess it depends on her age. If she's 10 and going for an actual skills camp experience, maybe not. If she's 16 and really interested in going to school there, probably.

if the degree is stacked in her favor... um, and she loves ball., probably the right decision. Winning is attached to career decisions. Ball comes 2nd in reality (not really common sense for some). I understand, hard to love a losing deal, heck who does? Maybe your kid can help boost the program and be apart of a solid recruiting class. Some want to be apart of that too. And maybe the coach has good attributes that align with the player and her needs. I'd say the "losers" that are on the team chose 1 of many reasons to answer the original question. It's also a time to ask the players when they are there. So, use it to determine how well it's a fit besides just the scorebook.
