Don't miss out on your opportunity to learn new skills and drills at the EMU Softball Defensive & Offensive Skills camps this Saturday on the campus of Eastern Michigan University, in Ypsilanti, MI!
The Defensive Skills Camp will be an intense workout that will help players fine tune aspects of their defensive game in their primary positions! Outfielders will work on drop steps, changing directions, their drive step (crow hop), ground balls & fly balls. Infielders will be split into corner positions and middle infield positions. All infielders will learn how to throw from all three throwing slots and will then be split into their smaller groups. Middle infielders will work on their range, flips, turning double plays, and other skills needed to improve their game. The corner positions will work on bunt coverages, charging the ball, and learning how to throw on the run.
The Offensive Skills Camp will be a three hour session in which the participants will work on all aspects of the offensive side of the game. This camp will be an intense workout that will help players fine tune their hitting techniques to help them hit to all fields and hit with more power! Participants will be split by age to allow for more focused drill work and efficient use of time.
