Thats not fair to say that about me, just because football is a male sport as well. The sports that bring in the most money to the school will always get the best treatment, male or female.

A better comparison would of been baseball vs fastpitch...Male basketball vs female basketball. Male futbol vs female futbol. To compare football vs fastpitch is like comparing ride and handling of crewcab dualie 4x4 1 ton pickup truck to Mercedes Benz SLR McLaren Roadster...

If anyone wants to change it, its upto them to do so. Give back your season tickets to the male sports and buy season tickets to female ones instead...

You could go up and down the boards on discussions of the how's and why's of fairness and/or equality in men's and women's sports. Thankfully there is "forced fairness" in the form of title IX that will allow a few girls the opportunity to get a college degree while on scholarship.

I am not saying that NPF players should get the same money that MLB players get. The market will obviously dictate player's salaries and endorsements. What I am saying is that if players like Bustos, Finch, Whatley, etc were men playing in the MLB, they would be getting fat stacks of cash and all the extra yummies that go along with it. I think it would be pretty easy to get bitter about that looking at it from that perspective.

I for one, would settle for the leagues the women play in in other parts of the world. All we can do is enjoy teams like the Racers while we have them and pray for NPF owners like Joey Arrieta (sp?) to find some deep stacks of cash to keep it going. All I can say, is the games are great fun, great entertainment and I love watching the younger girls watching the pros play.
