multiple screen names

It has been pretty slow around here lately so why not fire it up a little bit. I think around this time of year it gets so slow that some members may choose to talk to themselves using multiple screen names.

A sure way to get people on a mission or to stack the deck on an issue is to argue the same position using multiple screen names.

With the moderators permission I hope we can play a matching game and identify some of these multiple screen names. Let's mention these by screen name only or identify threads were collaborating posters are on an agenda.

This thread has theringer written all over it and maybe he can help us set some rules (points and etc...) for this game

This is all in good fun to make these folks feel uncomfortable who like to ruffle feathers by using mysterious screen names.

yes dont know what ip is but my dd was trying to get an identity 2 weeks ago and hasnt been able to post yet maybe that is why

IP{ is the logging station where you are... at home is the usual case. If you are having trouble with getting your daughter online.. PM The Bear May and tell him who you are (what name you go by in here) and tell him that your daughter wants to have a name on the same computer as you.

What he'll do is cross-reference the IP connected to your name and then make the same IP go to your daughter's name on here and it will allow her to join the OFC.

It doesn't stop them.. I agree. But, if they are at home using the same computer... then there might be a problem there getting a new name registered.

I do have multiple screen names on here. The other is my initials. Have had that one for a few years. I work out of town alot. Had not been on here for awhile. Forgot my passwords for my first one. I started another with an easier password to remember. My wife got another password generated it is number an letter combo. The other name you believe is me is not. We know who it is though. The only time I am on here under my intials is when my wife is already on here and she gets up already logged in.

I do coach but not at the level of most all of you. The scenerios I come up with have happened. Just wanted to see what people at another level thought.

As you can read there is an org. that I have had a beef with. It was a very ugly situation. I do need to let it go and get over it. I am not the one who started them threads. I have not named anyone on here and would not do it. The situation we was involved in was very bad. Just don't want to see some one else go through it.

I'm sure they only check the IP when you register. You could use your neighbor's or neighbors unsecured wireless to register one or more, you could do another at the library, another at work and you could make stops with your laptop at Speedways, Big Boys, coffee shops and many other business that offer free Wi Fi to register as many as you please. Checking IP's does nothing to stop this madness. hehe
