Played some exciting games this week against Miami Valley Express Red, Cincy Doom in the 14's. Always fun playing against them because of the competitiveness and good kids. Who are some of the teams people like playing against?

I could probally tell you easier who I don't like playing, but we won't go there. Actually, I enjoy a game against anybody whose parents and coaches are good sports because that way you can count on the girls to act that way too. ;D

I know I just love watching my daughter get caught up in playing hard and bringing the most out of her. I hate watching her play against someone she knows she could beat b/c she just doesn't get any better and she seems to enjoy the competition so much more. I know she waited all week to play against the Baby Rays at GAPSS and when she got her chance to pitch she was really focused. She played hard and the next day she and some of the girls she played against ribbed each other and had a great time. If you want to be the best you have to play the best! I am just happy my dd feels that way too!!! ;D

I personally enjoy playing the Chain Reaction U12 team.
During break (after 3 long games) my Ohio Magic Team was playing around with soccer balls and playing silly games such as red rover when the U12 Chain Reaction Team (Our next opponents) came over to join us play. That was so fun.
But the Jaguars are mean. Especially that left fielder.
Why does the pride wear ribbons like cheerleaders?
The Valley Extreme is always fun to play too. They are piamps.

My team enjoys playing Ohio Magic and Ohio Pride! They are both very good competition and are always fun to hang out w/ in between games and after! We all get along very well!

I would also like to say last year our team really enjoyed playing Ohio Pride that is now 14u! ;D They are a very talented team and we always had fun with them off the field and on! :p I still talk to them every tournament and try and watch some of there games but I still wish we could play them again! :-/

Good luck to Ohio Magic and Ohio Pride 12u and 14u! ;)

Oh man, there are a bunch of teams. This year at 16-U, we've enjoyed our two games with the Ohio Ice Blue and the Indy Diamond Chix have been a great opponent last fall and this summer. The Lasers Red are a favorite opponent, but we just don't seem to end up playing each other that often.

JoeA'a post and the great young ladies who play for him inspire that it "just doesn't get any better" than NSA states at Telatown about 10 days ago and being able to watch 8 16u teams battling at any given time.
The teams that lost their first game and had to fight through the busy losers brackets provided a great show of heart, spirit, camaraderie and talent in playing hard in the heat, humidity, and dust as we had the pleasure of seeing so many great teams "leave it all on the field".

We have always enjoyed playing the 12U Ohio Ice (Clark) and Lady Lasers (this is the first year we have been successful against either team). Both teams are very strong and well coached (Laser coach is tough on his own though). The competition is good and the winner is never decided until the last batter. You can see the intensity in our players knowing that they are playing a strong team - it's always a good game against the Ice or Lasers.

You say that both teams understood girl was safe? Wow wish I could have an experience like that. I have seen calls that were OBVIOUS, and yet when you talk to the other team they try to defend the bad call. Like "well he owed us one" or "your third batter was out on strikes but got a walk, so it evens out..." Another favorite to see is a ball thrown so far off the plate the catcher has to turn her shoulders to catch it. Then to hear the ump yell "strike!" The entire team grumbles, and the other team says "yeah honey great pitch!"
Like I said That's great for you, I would hang onto that one because that's not gonna happen often.

You can't really pick one team that you enjoy playing. That is only because you haven't played every team out there and it's not right to just pick one team. I've played many teams the last 3 years that I have been playing and I actually enjoy every team that is competitve and have coaches that are understandable and aren't there just to win, they can have fun to. Those are the teams that I enjoy playing.

Heres an easier thing to say. Do you only go to the games where you know that your playing someone you like? Or do you show up to all the games that you can make. I would hope that it's all the games you can make. So don't just pick out one team you like to play. If you like the sport then you like all the competitve, nice, and understanding teams.

A dry field - two teams - an "AWARE" umpire - all the makings for a good game. 8)

My disclaimer: I am only a parent on the 12U OFC Heat, and what I type here is only my opinion, I do not speak for the team or the coaches.

We have played the Kentucky Thunder 12U team twice, and they were both thrilling games, down to the last out. The teams look to be evenly matched, the players on both sides gave 100% effort, pitching was fantastic, and we the fans saw some thrilling defensive plays. Both games were won not with errors, but what team made the plays. Softball at its best. Great job KY Thunder, and OFC Heat.

Any team whose parents sit back ,enjoy the game; and let the kids play. All of this without acting like they are the ones playing the game :p ;)
