We are very excited to announce that the Southern Girls Softball Academy will be hosting 2 camp sessions on July 7th at Orrville High School. SGSA camps will consist of position specific instruction from former University of Alabama Players, including those from the 2012 WCWS championship team. Other camp staff will include current collegiate softball players from the northeast Ohio area.
In each session campers will be divided into smaller groups by age and experience level. Our Defensive skills session will cover defensive instruction in the areas of infield, outfield, and catching based upon their position preference. Campers participating in the Hitting Camp will be divided into small groups based upon age. Pitching instruction will also be provided but we are limited to only 25 pitchers per session to insure quality instruction for all campers.
The SGSA Defensive Skills Academy, Batting Academy and Pitching Academy are three separate camps. However, discounts are provided for those who would like to participate in a full day of instruction.
