I thought you might be interested in the number of ASA Eastern National berths we will be able to award for this years Fall Chiller. Here they are:

10U - 2 Berths
12U - 4 Berths
14U - 4 Berths
16U - 4 Berths

Tournament Rules and Brackets were emailed out tonight and will be placed on our website. Some Important Things To Note:

1. On the Turf Fields ( Diamonds 1, 4, 5, 10 through 17) Pitchers Must Wear Tennis Shoes. All Teams Have All Your Pitchers Bring Tennis Shoes. All Championship Games are scheduled on Turf so there is a chance you may play on the turf. Position players can wear cleats on turf it they want but Pitchers cannot.
2. Tournament Check In is at Fields 14 -17 Concession Stand. You need to check in before your first game. You can pick up your presale T Shirts and Hoodies at this time.
3. Berliner Charges $5 to Park. The city collects and keeps this money not the Central Ohio Ice Organization
4. With this being a one day tournament there are not many breaks in the schedule and if you keep winning it will be a long day. Prepare for this by bringing food, snacks etc. You could play 5 or 6 games which is awesome but the girls will be tired ( We experienced this last year in Mason).
5. Please review the attached rules carefully and feel free to contact me if you have any questions.

Great tournament. Whatever deal you made to get that weather was worth it!

One suggestion - in the 12U bracket you unavoidably had one number 1 seed get a bye into the quarterfinals. It would have made sense to me to have them play another one seed in the quarterfinals. Instead, you had two other number one seeds who didn't get a bye forced to play each other in the quarterfinals. Didn't seem fair but even in my suggestion there would be one number one seed without a bye playing the team who got the bye.
