Received this email from someone with the Valley Extreme organization, and got the OK to post it here for anyone else who may not have. I'm not able to attend the dinner, but have reached out to Rich to send a donation, and will pass those details on when I hear back from Rich ...
Many of you know Dave Kelm, he has been involved in coaching for a number of years. The Kelm Family has recently been hit with a family crisis. Dave’s wife Adrienne has been battling a disease that has affected her sight for some time, it is an Auto Immune Disorder similar to rheumatoid arthritis, but instead of attacking the joints, it attacks her eyes. It's called Ankylosing Spondylitis.
They found out last week that unfortunately she lost this battle and has been declared legally blind. We will be hosting a Spaghetti dinner at Candlelight Knolls on April 21st from 3- 7 to raise money to help the family bridge the gap until she receives her benefits.
