What isn't being considered here, is that the Roadrunner teams, don't know how many probably didn't pay nothing to be in the tourny, which is common practice and they didn't lose a penny!

Actually that isn't true. The refund policy was decided after the tournament was cancelled. Furthermore, the gate fees weren't made known until after the tournament fees were collected.

I know, I'm a whiner. Whatever, I'll eat it and smile.

Mad Hornet- The gate fee was made perfectly clear from day 1-- in fact it is on the entry form your coach filled out-- additionally this coach got several email reminders to inform the families of the gate (more than 3) It sounds as if your coach did not keep you informed to me. Rick and crew did everything humanly possible to make the tourney a go-- Mother Nature was just too strong that weekend to be beaten! It is as simple as that.

"Bookem" I would venture to guess after four years of tourney ball in Ohio, this is not your first rainout-- No tourneys refund 100% Again, I applaud Rick and his people on their efforts to make this happen

We DID NOT have the same experience with last weekend's debacle in Columbus for the Capitol City Showcase/Bat Wars. It was a complete fiasco and "Fastpitch Showdowns" has a LONG way to go to find a clue! FYI- that tourney was 445$ and teams that played 0 games are getting 175$ back-- supposedly, someday
