Play some ball - win some uniforms. Have you ever went to a tournament and played and had a chance for uniforms or at least a $600.00 gift certificate to any business you so desire ? The only way it can be done is because of the non profit status, tournament doesn't have to make money. Tournament doesn't want to make money actually.

Balls (6) - 28.00
Umpires (40-35) - 450.00

Leaves 87.00 left and still minus a percentage of tournament sanction fee itself and with the remainder...well.... could buy some tournament shirts to give to the girls by drawing or whatever. Just in the end, it needs to show non profit status. period.

11U Stingrays can't make Saturday. no way. sorry. wish we could.

Just throwing it out there. Just something good to know in advance. Got two calls last night about sunday 12u as well so maybe it is a moot issue anyway. Just good to know what everybody can do or can't do. This is why the two week prior to the tournament deadline for entry so things can work out or not and not hold up anybody from going elsewhere that weekend if need be. Working hard to fill from this end.

I keep getting everyone wanting to play on Sat, Rhino. Another entry at 12u on Saturday....Cincy Doom 96

Rhino: You should bring your team down on Saturday evening to the campground.. Motorhomes, campers, tents, air bed for the lodge floor area.... Save you a trip on Sunday morning or really anybody that plays on Saturday or Sunday as check in starts at 2 pm on Friday and complete out by 10 am on Sunday. Beautiful place. The screen in shelter I once knew as a kid, is now a full fledged lodge with a huge kitchen area and fireplace. Thinking of finding a disc jockey for Friday night for the girls. Kroger loves sponcering things like that for families. Have to be in Wilmington tomorrow anyway so I'll check and see if they would. That would be fun for the girls. Or maybe just on Saturday that way the Saturday teams and the Sunday coming in early can enjoy. Yea Saturday night.

Thank you. Just looking to fill. Been asking about a "National" berth forever. Tired of asking. Needless to say, it would help fill the tournament, give the girls a chance to go to the Nationals and give me something to offer to the teams like ASA is doing with Akron and Massilion tournaments on the same weekend up North. Then the following weekend, Gannon can give away the world series berths. Win-win for the girls. The politics of softball... instead of the best interest of the girls, parents and teams. This saddens me. It really does.

To all teams entered:

Looking for a 14u for Sunday.

Going to be contacting 10u teams to see if they want to play on Sunday instead of Saturday so Ohio Wave may enter tourney. Need one 10u team (Sat or Sun- not sure which day)

Going to contact 12u Saturday teams and see if they might want to play on Sunday to include Central Ohio Stingrays team.

Will set a starting time by 4pm on Tuesday for all teams. Just a starting time so it gives me a couple days to fill spots. Waiting to hear about "National Berths" to give the tournament a boost in teams entered. Maybe the national berth will help fill the 12u, 10u, 16u each day.
Putting out the "bat signal" to USSSA. No one seems to know where the director is at....

Great news Ohio Wave. ?The Saturday 10u teams was happy to help you out and moved to Sunday so you can play. Still need one 10u. Working on 12u for you, Mr. Stingray 12u. ?Waiting answer from others. ?Be back online on Tuesday morning at 10am if anyone needs anything. Give me until Wednesday before I put out a scheduled start time. As you noticed, I wiped out the orginal one as it is moot as the tournament is not full. So, I am sure we will not be starting until 9am on both days.

Heart of Ohio 12u coach is trying to get the 11u Heart of Ohio team to come join them on Sunday as well. ?The 12u teams are in Harrison playing Fall Ball... that is where they are at...lol....Let's try to fill them up. ?Need a 16u team for Saturday as well. ?The PA team cannot come due to parents not wanting to come. ?They are 2 hr east of Pittsburgh. ?I am off to Chillicothe to switch out some hoodies as the Cincy team got Chillicothe hoodies and vice versa from the last tournament. ?Going to look at the Waverly diamonds while I am down that way as well. ? Will go over the schedule tonight and the amount of teams and will put starting time online come Thursday morning by Noon. ?Nobody is starting until 9am on either day so no early games.
