Alexis Silkwood throws 13.1 innings for the home Bulldogs and totaled 216 pitches giving up 2 runs and still wasn't enough to post a win. Has to be a tough one to lose after that effort. Not only to deliver that many pitches but to stay focused for 13 + innings.

I have known Alexis since she was born. Her dad is a very good friend and I actually coached him when he was young. If you don't know it, he played in the St. Louis Cardinal's organization and made it to the AA level. Alexis is a tough kid and so, she would do anything for her team.
