Inaugural USSSA Pride/Ohio Starz "Pinktoberfest" - Oct 3-4, 2015.

We can take a max of 16 teams each day.

USSSA - 2016 WSQ event open to 10u/12u for Saturday only event. Also open to 14u/16u for Sunday only event.

USSSA does offer "odd year" age classes. Teams that classify as odd year(9/11/13/15) must have all girls with the same birth year or younger. If more than 2 odd year teams participate in a traditional age group bracket, there will be a odd year WS berth offered to the highest finishing team. If we can get enough to create separate pool play, than we will group those teams in the odd year pool. Teams will be placed in traditional bracket play to determine a tournament champion.

Entry fee is $225 for 10u & 12u and $325 for 14u & 16u plus $35 USSSA 2015-16 sanction fee if not already sanctioned. If you need to sanction, please click here: USSSA Team Sanction Info. TEAMS CAN ENTER WHILE THEIR SANCTION IS PENDING. There is a prepay discount of $25 if paid in full 30 days in advance 9/3/15 & 9/4/15. I can take $100 deposits to hold spots until 9/4/15. At that time, all fees must be paid in full to keep the discount.

PLEASE NOTE: USSSA STARTS THEIR SANCTION SEASON OVER AGAIN ON AUG 1. TEAMS WILL NEED TO SANCTION FOR THE FISCAL YEAR 8/1/15 THRU 7/31/16. TEAMS WILL ALSO NEED TO BE AGE-ELIGIBLE FOR THE AGE GROUP THEY ARE PLAYING DURING 2016. EXAMPLE: A 14u TEAM IN 2015 MOVING TO 16u FOR THE 2016 SEASON WOULD HAVE TO PLAY IN 16u IN USSSA FALL TOURNAMENTS.

Team update:

After speaking with the Starz today, they have agreed to drop the price for the 10u and 12u age groups to $225. Starz along with USSSA really want this event to take place and are willing to run it at break even to make that happen.

10u - need teams. We can run with 4 but would like to get up to 6 if possible, 8 at the max.
12u - need teams so we can run. We can go with 4 teams and honor all guarantees with berths and awards. Just need 2 teams to commit. We would prefer 6 if possible but 4 is a go.
14u- FULL. We can not take anymore due to field space.
16u - need 1 more team so we can fill.

We do need all teams to get in their balances so we can schedule this. If you need to send a deposit until you collect team fees, just shoot me an email letting me know this. I work with teams but do need some good faith so I can schedule this ASAP. mike.craig@ohusssafp.org or 614-895-2253.

Because the USSSA system isn't set up (that I am aware of) to show the mini-brackets, I just put the first game time in for the 14u Pool's A and B. I sent out a copy of the pool play with the complete game times to the listed manager and also made a notation on the online pool schedule of where the winners/losers of their games go for game 2. The bracket is accurate on game times and seeds if you want to follow along. Thanks to the teams for getting their info online so we can post scores right afterwards.
