Seeing that the Diamond Dogs 10's are the only "B" team entered why is it they can't get thier money back. You say no refunds but this team is not an "A" team and should be given the choise of playing or getting a refund. Please consider it cause they definitely are not an "A" team.

It is not our call. We are only assembling the information as received and the format, rules etc. are established by the NSA. I understand your thoughts but it has to be approved by the NSA. We are continuing to get entries and anticipate having enough teams in the "B" division.

OK, I have what is probably a stupid question, but what determines whether you are in the "A" side or the "B" side of the tournament? ?Seems like I've seen something where it's determined by what you have done in the past, in NSA tournaments, or something like that.

Actually Coach Tig, the medical release isn't needed and was removed from current packets. ?We didn't get notice we had received the tournament until late in the year and had to quickly prepare a packet. ?The old one was around and we grabbed it.

We also deleted the $25.00 dollar fine for a messy bench. I think most coaches are classy enough know better.

Actually, I like coolers. Particularly the ones with wheels and a big handle. ? ;D

TJC, in looking at the NSA by-laws, it really doesn't address Girls Youth Fastpitch and when you have to move up or down a class.

Maybe Lisa Simpson or John Deluca can add some info on this topic.

But, it really comes from the coach after a good hard look at their team and what were their goals for the year. Everybody in the ball park can tell when a Class A team is playing in a Class B tournament. : and yes, the eyes do roll when that happens.

In my opinion, the 12U Class A and Class B designations for the state tournament look good. This is just my opinion from playing some of the teams and seeing scores and talking to other people about how teams are doing. Of course, that and 25 cents and you're still short on buying a cup of coffee. ;D

As I recall, Lisa used to have the guidelines for "A" or "B" status on her website. It was if you have won a tounament with more than 8 teams and/or you have a winning record of .600 or better. Is my recollection correct?
