Situation:

Batter hits fly ball to 2Bman. Umpire calls Infield Fly (for second OUT)

First base runner takes off anyway and SLAMS into 2Bman trying to catch the batted ball, making the catch impossible. Third base runner takes off and scores before 2Bman gets to the ball after collision.

The outcome is..._______________________

I would say interference on the runner from first dead ball. 2 outs runners at 2nd and third.

- The Infield Fly still applies- batter was already out before the interference happened!

- Interference on the runner from first. Dead ball, runner out.

- Since ball was dead on the interference, runner from third cannot advance or score.

End result is: Three outs, no runs score...switch sides!

The second baseman did everything completely perfect as always. Fire the ump and hire her mother. Second baseman was very frustrated by the call.

Interference was called....Runner from first...But was not out....No dead ball Run scores... COMPLETELY REDICULOUS CALL!
