...its quite an investment to make those trips and play the best, but if you do your team better have the talent team wide to do it.I'm sure Warren does his best to make that happen to keep the orgs reputation intact.

Okie almost always agree with you but slight difference in opinion on this one. You NEVER should teach to the bottom of the class as no one ever benefits in that case... for many, many reasons. If you have a team with girls that want to play at the next level, then always seek to play at the highest level possible and EVERYONE benefits. Spoken to many college coaches on behalf of a player they were interested in. Never once did they ask what the team record was. On the other hand, can't recall ever having the opportunity to have that discussion at a lower level event.

You must be another parent of an ousted Outlaw player. If the Outlaws are a joke, what does that make you? BTW, I have no affiliation with the Outlaws, but I do know that Warren has put together a successful organization in a very short amount of time. My dd has played against Outlaw teams and they were tough.

No not an ousted player and just my opinion as you are entitled to yours.

Glad you came out to defend the premier concept,if you read my posts it's a choice, and you can make it or not.I'm not about doing something just to do it.If we played for a premier team and could afford it and I saw we didn't have what it took to compete at that level I'd not do it.That's the thing sometimes its not the talent that drives the decision. If that's the case a couple games in Cali could be there "Disney "softball experiece.

This is starting to get out of hand.....every organization has its merits and its faults, none of them are perfect, and it's not all unicorns with rainbows shooting out of them wherever you and DD choose to play. It all just becomes what each person is or family is willing to put up with, if it does not workout then both parties are free to move on after that. As far as the "premiere" or "elite" titles I agree that there are way to many teams out there calling themselves this for what they should mean, but that is not something I can change or care to change as it does not directly affect me.

Ok, you must have tried to quote me instead of quoting yourself. I'm 100% certain my second post before the great crash was NOT doggin another organization. That's my point.

Well lets see if I got it right this time, seeing how your so sanctimonious and all knowing that I am sure you have never made an error in your life. First off your point is taken even if I do not agree....Now give me a break.....agree to disagree but do not disparage others for their opinion, as an opinion is simply that if you don't agree with it fine speak your mind and again.....give me a break....lol

One more thing root for a football team that might actually win some meaningful games this year but then again that does allow you more time to be on here since your season is over in in September.

Oh really? Going to dog my Browns? Ok, the way I look at things, if you're a fan of a sports team, you better know it's history and the history of other sports teams. Yes, they may have struggled upon their return. As much slack I'll take on this, as of now-Butch Davis was the best coach so far in the new era. Why? Only one who got them to the playoffs.

Sorry Chris, you're not going to like this. Do you know the Cleveland Browns are the only team in all of sports history to make 10 straight championships. Yes I'm including the AAFC which the Browns are trying to bring in the NFL records much like the NFL did with the AFL.

1946-won (AAFC)
1947-won (AAFC)
1948-won (AAFC)
1949-won (AAFC)
1950-won (NFL)
1951-lost (NFL)
1952-lost (NFL)
1953-lost (NFL)
1954-won (NFL)
1955-won (NFL)

Sorry, the Spankees, Canadiens, Red Wings, Maple Leafs, Celtics, and the Lakers and their history cannot make that claim. And to add more salt to the wound, did you know Cleveland is the only team to lose a team AFTER winning a title. The 1945 Cleveland Rams won the NFL title and then bolted for Los Angeles. So Cleveland should be title town.

So yes, I added some fun to this. It's all good about errors. I make more of my own share and will continue to do so :D.

@brownsfan. Toooo Funny. Way to go. It's not a highjack, its an upgrade. You took a thread and stacked about 2 soapboxes on it then balanced opinion and facts without teetering an inch. Now, me being a native Clevelander, meeting the Minnifields, or learning "English " as a kid from hardcore fans has nothing to do with my unbiased opinion.

Hey now :D. I can't as long as the NFL uses the double-standard. Green Bay is considered title town because of the Super Bowls AND the NFL titles before the Super Bowl. NFL recognizes that. But when they talk championships to every other team, it's measured in Super Bowls only. Well then erase what the Lions did in the early 50's, the Rams in the 40's, the Eagles, and I can go on. When they talk of perfect seasons, they only talk of the Dolphins. Once again, what about the Bears who accomplished that feat twice along with the Browns of the AAFC?

That's the one thing I love about hockey. History is on the Stanley Cup. The history is part of the sport. Baseball, even though as slow as golf, has their history shown everywhere. It's only the NFL that has the double standard. So yeah, I went back to way before I was even thought of. But there's history that no ones knows of. Everyone thinks the NFL started in 1966 with Super Bowl I. Heck, if that's the case, then NASCAR needs to do the same thing :D, but they don't. regardless of whatever the name of the championship series, they still use that history of the sport.

And did you know the Colts are the only team in Super Bowl history to represent both sides. Super Bowl III as representatives of the NFL (NFC in today's standards) against the Jets and Super Bowl V as the AFC against the Cowboys (NFC)

Love the Crennel part LOL

That earned a thumbs up and you don't have that. Well, I'm a from Baltimore. Move to Ohio when young. Hated what Ursay did to the town of Baltimore. If he's not entered into the HofF, I hope he doesn't.

I think that teams listing their team as premier are merely stating that it is an "above the norm" type of team in terms of what they want to get out of their softball season. Some of you are getting real personal and showing your maturity level (or lack thereof)as a parent and forgetting that kids read this site. I say, go play the best competition you can without destroying the fun for your team. That is competition, regardless of your name. I get why teams do it...some truly are Premier and some are not so premier, some kids are great softball players, some are great piano players, or scouts, or students, or whatever that also love softball. Whatever the case, check your personal attacks at the home page softballers.

Sincerely,
Devils Extreme Awesome Mega-Premier Explosion Playing in the Elite Gold Showcase Division coach

PS...since I posted this, Warren Wolf has explained what the terms means to his program and it makes total sense. Thanks Warren. That being said, the Emeralds and Hurricanes don't have an adjective behind their name and they are 2 pretty dang good teams that thumped us with good players and well coached. I like the idea of laying low without the adjectives. However calling your team misfits (I actually saw this year) may not be the best for team moral, just my opinion (not saying anything about the team or coaches, just the name)
