Cincy Doom 16u Premier - Hillen based out of Dayton, Ohio will be holding a series of tryouts in Cincinnati, Dayton and Columbus for the 2022-2023 season.

We are looking for top athletes to add to our roster who are looking to play competitive ball. Our #1 goal is to get our players to the next level. With our knowledge and resources, we will get these girls recruited and ready for college ball. We will be playing an all showcase “A” level 16u schedule for the fall and summer. We are a NON parent coached team. All of our coaches have played college softball and have several years of coaching experience.

During our 2022 season, we had a very large college coach following (schools from Divisions 1, 2 and 3). Some of our tournaments from this past year included Scenic City, Midwest Firecracker, D1 Super-Select, Lasers e.c.t. We have girls from all over Ohio and Indiana on our team. We practice at Kettering fields in Dayton. We bring in college coaches to our fall and summer practices to speak with the girls and for extra exposure.

The Cincy Doom organization is a very well respected ‘A’ level organization throughout the Midwest. We bring in college coaches from all over Ohio and surrounding states to host private camps for Doom players at our indoor facility (Virginia Tech, Northern Kentucky, Miami, Toledo, Bowling Green, Ashland, Hillsdale, Findlay, e.c.t). Our organization has gotten hundreds of girls to the next level!

Meet the coaches:
Liz Hillen is from Mason, Ohio where she played for the OFC Heat ’95 A team. Liz attended Sinclair College where she was named second team NJCAA All-American in 2016 and Marucci sports 2016 player of the year. Liz has given private lessons for over 10 years with coaching experience at Mason city schools.

Jules Curry is from Reno, Nevada where she played for the Reno Heat ‘98 A team. Jules attended the University of Dayton where she was named Academic All-American in her 2019 season. She also broke multiple team records for base running. She has been coaching for over 4 years in her hometown of Reno.

Thank you to those who have registered for our tryouts so far!! We are at the Midwest Firecracker showcase in Indianapolis this week. Our players have done a great job of significantly increasing our college coach following, and we look forward to meeting more college coaches this weekend! Our #1 goal is to get our players recruited and signed to play softball in college.

These coaches are playing in exposure events and very tough competition for their athletes.
Yes winning is fun I agree. But its not everything.
Look at the teams they played in their pool. tough top notch competition. They are not running from the challenge.
They are simply trying to do what every other coach is trying to do build a competitive team and get their girls to the next level.

It's a post for a tryout. They are looking to add more talent to the talent they already have.

We all want more Non-Parent coaches in this game or more solid coaches in this game and when we get some of these young ladies to come back and give back to the game by coaching they always have a rough first couple years.
Let them build this team and see what they can accomplish.
