If you have some fields, a tournament is a great one.
If you know someone who knows how to do a reverse raffle, another good one.

All I know is if anyone else tries to get me to buy another candle, I'm gonna' flip! ?There has to be some better, more creative ways to raise money for these teams. ?Something that isn't horribly over priced and people will actually use. ?:-?

Try selling poinsettias at Christmes. You will need to contact a local nursury to arrange price and availability. We do this and the ussual profit is between 35 - 50%. Prices are not outragous either.
PM me for further details.

I have had girls raise more than 1/2 of their total fees from selling these.

We did two sub sales and raised over two thousand dollars. $20.00 for 5 - 10inch subs and we got a $1.75 per sub sold. This was easy to do. Everybody is looking for quick dinners come ball season. They were actually very good too.

Little Cesars Pizza Kits are always great. You get $5 per item ordered for profit...I have had several earn all of their fees with this one. Plus almost everyone loves pizza :p

Best fundraiser by far ive seen is the FISH FRY/MONTE CARLO. Texas hold ems rock also for big returns. theres alot that goes into running either of these tho.

Quick hit fundraisers are the ready made sub sales. Theres a deli here that makes 4 different kinds. they basically sell themselves.

We did blood drives. Contact Aultcare, or the Red Cross. Generally, we received $500 for 20 pints. Good money and a good cause. And you can repeat this every 6 weeks or so.

Check with some of your local restaurants to see if they offer a "guest host" program. My company allows groups to pick a night & come in & serve the dining room customers. The kids keep whatever tips they make & my employees are there to help the group & do the grunt work. We've had groups make anywhere from $250-$700 in 2 -3 hours. The ones that made the most were the groups who made sure to really advertise what they were doing. It's also something the team can do themselves instead of mom & dad being the ones to sell the candy bars, cookies, candles etc...

You need to hit things "in season". ?Have any farmers on your team? ?With Fall upon us, a Farmers Market is a good idea. ?Pumpkins, guords, sweet corn, all that stuff sells like crazy in the Fall. ?If you could get your hands on some mums at wholesale cost, you could make some money on those too. ?Its county fair time, put a booth together and sell it at the fair. ?The cost to rent a booth is generally inexpensive.

I know in my area the Nutter Center and Dayton dragons at fifth 3rd field will let groups run concessions and collect a portion of the profits. You have to have a non exempt no. and usually at least 6-10 people running the stand. This is geared more towards adult participation due to beer sales.
The Nutter center is a whole off season thing and they have you sign a contract and require you to do a certain number of events a month. (we did 2-3) Of course you have to do a couple stinker events where you wont make as much that night (150-250) as opposed to the bigger events (600-800) :)

I'm for the sub sales. They sell easily at work. They can be a little of a pain to get everyone their orders, but it is a great fundraiser.
