Im not the official word for Huron County but going to an area in our yard where there doesnt appear to be any drifting, I put the yard stick out there and it came up to 15 inches of snow thus far.
How is everybody else holding up?

Oh yeah, Im glad our county is trying to save money by not running the snow plows today. Only one I saw was an amish buggy with a couple slowly pouring salt out the back! >:(

We have just about 18" as of 15 minutes ago and it is still coming down at a good pace. The wind is really building some awesome drifts.

I was just out shoveling in the back yard so the dogs could go out. Its at least 18 inches and still coming down hard. Ditto on the huge drifts and the city has been out of salt since yesterday.

First shovel was 9 inches. Took 2.5 hours to shovel the entire drive. Second shovel commenced at 4:30 (four hours later), just as much. Hasn't even been and hour and another inch is already down.

Should have bought a snow blower when I moved here LOL

Parma is at at least 18 + inches at this time.

(By the way The3DM, do work your daughter to hard, she need to keep that pitching arm good!)

I shoveled an area for my dog but he was too dumb to follow the path. He literally dead stopped in a 3' high drift and look at me with a pitifull express that said "Help". I had to pick up a wet, snow covered dog and carry him back inside .......and he still wanted a dog biscuit. Sheeesh...

Our golden had to hop through the snow the first time this morning to make her little path. I don't think I've ever seen her go so quickly, lol

edited because I can't seem to spell today

Lady dog thought leaping through the snow was fun at first. She tossed it up in the air and ran all over the yard. Then she figured out it was cold.
