Here's what I know:

Buckeye Heat (Mayweather) is No. 1 seed from its pool (a tiebreaker based on runs was required to determine seeds between teams who lost one game). Last I heard this Heat team plays at 2:15 pm today.

Buckeye Heat (Abraham) is No. 1 seed from its pool, having gone 3-0 (Phoenix, Lasers Red, and North Coast Spirit) in pool and having won a "bonus" game against Double Play (this opportunity resulted from Valley Extreme's decision not to play). Abraham's team plays at 12:30 pm

The field is packed with very good teams and it's single elimination today, so I for one have absolutely no prediction as to who will win. For example, any team in that tough Pool 5 (Ohio Ice Philen, Valley Sting, Grand Slam, and Ohio Bandits) is capable of taking it all.

Any other results (I forgot to check the tournament board before leaving last night)?

I expect Grand Slam to take it all. They were playing awesome yesterday, highlighted by a perfect game by Jess Simpson over Ice-Philen.

Hopefully, we can get some results from today. Championship game is tonight at 7:30 PM.

Just back from Loudonville after a run in with Jessica Simpson and Grand Slam. They beat us 8-0 in 5 innings and Jessica scatterd 4 hits over those 5 innings. Our first game this morning, we won 6-1 against Holly Hills
Also spoke to some other folks,

Ricardi's Ice beat Ice Black

I agree with the earlier post about Grand Slam, what a tremendously fundamental team. We also played Lasers Gold and they also looked very good in our game, as well as other games I saw them play.

Which team is Riccardi? I get so confused with them. Is Riccardi the Ohio Blue team?

When I left Loudonville, Bandits were playing Attack; Grand Slam got beat 3-2 in 8 innings by Lasers Gold.

Final game was Lasers Gold and Ohio Attack. Lasers Gold won 4-1. Congrats to the Lasers, they are an awesome team. Congrats to the second place Ohio Attack! They kept right with them until the 6th inning! Great job to all. It was a well run tournament.

Saw the Lasers Gold play and they are tough. I know the one pitcher(Cox) was a college freshman last year. Are there any other college players on that team??

Correction on the score of that final. It was 3-1 as reported on Huddle. I forgot to check with the official scorer before posting! It is my understanding that there are several college players on that team and several who are also signed. Don't know for sure though.
