How do 4 teams in the 16u get byes? They should play just like the other teams.

Obviously just everyone's first round game is shown. It appears, after me laying this out in a bracket (13 teams), game 8 would be the game 3 winner versus the game 4 winner.

With 28 teams layed out in a bracket format, 4 teams get first round byes. 8, 16, 32, 64 team fields are needed to make everything work out with no first round byes.

In past it is not triple elimination. It is 3 game "guarantee" meaning if you lose the first two you stay in the loser's bracket for on more chance to come back. Once you win a game, that guarantees your third game and then two loses and your are out. It is easy to see when you have it set up for 8, 16, 32, 64 teams. It get's a little "hairy" to set it up for different numbers of teams. Depending on if you get a first round bye or not you may be able to win your first one and still lose the next two and remain in the loser's bracket for one more chance. Anytime you don't have a 8, 16, 32, 64, etc. team field it won't be exactly the same for every team. We really need to see bracket to know each teams path(s) to the championship!!

NSA is non existant in the NWO area. May be one reason. Matter of fact some people have never heard of NSA sanctioning body.

alot of USSSA teams in this area.

ASA is starting to take off though.

There is an 16U SGS Magic team entered.

I believe this is official. I now see the same schedule posted on the Tealtown website. Of course, I didn't really compare all of the matchups on OFC to what's on the Tealtown site, so............

The Irish's tournament is the same weekend. One of the Irish's teams (Measley's) normally plays in NSA states is instead playing in the JP Wilde, I think 2 Irish teams are at GAPPS the rest are at their tourney. (Not a good weekend to pick for a tourney, I know, I didnt pick it ;D) Dave Day's Magic team is in Colorado, his Peppers teams of the past have played in NSA states. That and what Bluedevildad said, there arent alot of NSA tourneys in the area. I think in the summer the closet NSA tourney is Uncle Stan's which is a really cool tourney and normally there is a Irish or Magic team there.

We will have to rely on the Buckeye Heat-Toledo and Magic Red to represent NWO 16U softball this weekend in NSA states. I know they are up to the Challenge. Good Luck Heat and Magic.

Why aren't the entire brackets posted to show what game times are after the first round?
All the ASA tournaments have the winners and loser brackets with times so people have an
idea what is going on later in the day.
Is that possible, or does NSA fly by the seat of their pants?
