Soleprop has a point.....
The reason that the Wizards are not competing in these tournaments is we have not YET fit the criteria to be admitted. We have applied at all of the aforementioned tournaments. I believe that this will change as our teams have more success. The odds of this happening sooner will increase if more of the NWO girls quit running off to Central Ohio. Take no offense to that last statement since everyone has to make a choice. The facts are that many NWO players are playing at the college level.
When we talk about diluting teams, who really is responsible??? Is it girls that go to other parts of the State?? If every girls that drives hours away to play for another program stayed locally, we would also have the "high exposure" teams.
What comes first?? The players staying local or the "exposure teams"??
Again, I have no bones about players going to wherever they want to play. I am just happy that they are playing. I think that the time is coming that more and more will want to stay put because of the quality of the local programs.
