Just to get some conversation going.

I am gonna give you my list, if I leave anybody off just add them I assure you it wasnt intentional ?;D

Dauterman-Elmwood (Best Pitcher in the area, Heading to Findlay, Morgart to OU)
Morgart ? ? -Elmwood ?( I am going to watch these 2 play this year no matter what)

Richberg ? ?-Springfield (Fastest kid from home to first in this area)

Michalak ? ?-Springfield ( Soph pitcher, sounds like fully healthy and ready to roll)

Price ? -Springfield (Top flight catchers are hard to find)

Chartier ? ?- AW ? ? ( Spunky SS with a whoppin' stick)

Gill ?-AW ? ? (Like Dauterman, top flight pitcher, with a good stick)

Baker ?-AW ? ? ( potential to be a top 5 hitter in the NLL)

Loy -SUA ( I will be shocked if she isnt a top 10 hitter in the TCL this year)

Schultz ?-SUA ( Another of the talented pitchers in our area)

Allen -SUA ? ? ( Very Gorsuch like at the plate)

Holmes ?-Clay (Seems like she has been pitching and winning at clay for 8 years now)

Rice -Clay (about as athletic 3rd basemen as you will find and can mash)

Gramling -NDA (very athletic player with great stick and solid pitching)

Temple ? -WHS (Big bat, how is life going to be without Grosuch in the line-up?)

D ick -Delta ? ? ( just a great hitter and stud behind the plate)

Bryson ? ?-Perrysburg ? ?( The next ACE in NWO)

Konieczny -Oak Harbor ? ( The only kid I know of that is as good as AD behind the plate, or 3rd or SS)

Here is my list I want to check all these kids out this year, feel free to add, nobody was left off on purpose, I am getting old and my memory isnt what is use to be. I am still alot younger then Thunder though.

I agree with adding Meagen Maddog Denis, that kid is just flat out dangerous at the plate. I could not remember her last name lol, good call.

Im not 100% one Pinkelman's grade. I thought she was a junior but maybe she is a senior ill double check.

She's a senior. The Nicole Natter at Evergreen the other pitcher is a junior.

I think we need to add Sam Koiling (Not sure of spelling) from AW and Randy Hamilton from Springfield. Both ladies were in the top 5 for hitting in NLL last year. Adreanne D--K from Delta. She can flat out hit and has probably the best throw down to first.

Hey Uber, Just remember Biscuits gets her speed from her Dad. :)

Basesloaded, if my sources are correct, Brandy Holmes - Clay High School has verbaled to D1 Cleveland State University to play for Head Coach Angie Nicholson. Cleveland State will get a talented player with a great personality. Congratulations and good luck to Brandy.

I have to throw my 2 cents in for Chloe Stiriz at Wauseon. She may be the best 9 position player in NWO. Wauseon although will have to lean on her for her pitching.

Another good pitcher would be Lauren Kern of Archbold

A personal favorite,..I'm anxious to see how Emily Kurfis will fair when given the opportunity to pitch for A.W.

Pinkelman chooses Tiffin for softball career

Evergreen High School 's Lexie Pinkelman has selected Tiffin University to further her academic and softball careers. Pinkelman, a 5-7 pitcher/first baseman, has enjoyed a sterling career at Evergreen, hitting for a .345 career average and compiling a 0.54 ERA on the mound. Last season Pinkelman batted .340 while going 13-2 as a pitcher with 126 strikeouts in 90 innings. She has made her mark in the Evergreen record books, appearing in six offensive categories and three pitching categories, including the two winningest seasons in school history over the last two years. She also holds the top three single season strikeout marks over her first three seasons. Pinkelman also led the NWOAL in ERA last year as Evergreen went 17-3.

I look for Lindsay Bandeen (Springfield) to have a break-out year. She is a hard worker, I have to think it will pay off for her at the plate as well as on defense.

I almost forgot about Bandeen! Not many people know about her. She is a hitter and can stop almost anything hit at her. If this girl hits the ball...watch out because its gonna come flyin'.

I have only seen BG play a few times, but some people are telling me that they will be the most improved team and not maumee. Were there any young guns that stood out for them last season?

Are there any other small-school players that not many people know of because we mostly hear of the D1 and D2 schools around the Toledo area.

Also, has Szypka had a chance to throw at UT yet?

Bandeen is a GREAT kid and very good player who was injured last season. She had good schooling coming out of the "Lady Rebel" youth program. :)

I saw Bandeen last fall, I thought she was a natural hitter, takes great hacks,.....which made me think about another player that I played with my Stampede team this fall.
Alaina , or Elaina Haubert of Gibsonburg. I think she just loves to play 110% all the time. Vicious with the stick and loves to get dirty. One week she told me ahead of time she had tore up her sliding leg and it hadn't healed up quite yet so she said she wasn't sure about sliding. I said okay, thinking I'd not give her a steal sign, well heck, 5 minutes into the game she hits a bomb and barrels into 3rd covered with dirt and scratches. She's a player.

I think we should mention Kelly Hensley from AW. She has great power. I don't know how AW could leave that stick out of the line up.
