I wanted to congratulate our 16U team on its 5th place finish in the 16U World Series this past week. We went there with 9 players and still managed to win 6 straight games before falling twice on Sunday, once by a 2-0 score to the eventual champions. Our girls showed great toughness and heart. What a great summer and we are looking for even better things in 2009. Way to go Lady Charmers! Tom Swander, Director, Lady Charmers Softball.
