What time was the game. Mi schools are still in session for 1 more week. There were a few u-12 teams that could not make a 3:20 start do to school

It was an early game... but there were other MI teams there. You'd think the TD would allow a reschedule if school was in session.

Re: Toledo Tune Up 10u

All I know is that the Michigan Mustangs beat Evergreen and SGS Magic Red yesterday. It doesn't look like the USSSA director in Ohio posts scores on a state USSSA website like the Michigan guy does. At the tournament last week at Liberty Park, he posted the scores online almost in "real time'.

Laser Gold "96 and Indy Thunder "96 both undefeated in pool-C class -A and the Thunder won the final game 3-0 over the Gold, classic match up of two 11u teams, the Thunder made every play, no errors as the Gold continued to hit well against an execptional pitcher, that game was worth the entire weekend wait, no doubt the best pitcher we have seen, what a talent ! Hats off to the Thunder.

How will they determine a "winner" for the 12U, there were 5 pools, 2 A pools, 3 B pools. We happened to be in the A pool with the Indy Thunder and Lasers Gold team, both very good teams and we lost to both of them. Our team would have ended up third in our pool, but does that really matter if a team in the B pool also went undefeated? Just curious as to how they will figure out overall winners.

I got to watch the Laser Gold / Indy Thunder game. Very good game. The Lasers did hit well against the best 12U pitcher I've seen since Abby from the Slammers. They had a chance to plate a run late but a base running blunder took them out of the inning. The Laser's pitcher ( I think Mason?) threw the ball well with as much velocity as Erin from the Thunder but Erin had great movement and great location. I thought ump was a little tight because she was painting the corner and not getting the call. When she did have to bring over the plate, the Lasers hit it. The Thunder is the real deal with Erin in the circle. Good way to start off after winning the ASA "A" Nationals last year.

You dont have to worry about that. ?The Buckeye Blasters beat the SGS Magic 1-0 to give the Magic a loss. ?The Magic won the other 12U "A" pool with a 6-1 record. ?I believe the Emeralds Black was second at 5-2. ?The Blasters were 4-3.

Here is the bad thing about the drop dead time limit games (and I wont even mention the Magic/Emeralds game). ?Emeralds take a 2-0 lead into the 7th inning. ?The Blasters tie it up 2-2. ?The Emeralds have a runner at third, two outs in the bottom of the 7th, and everyone just goes home cause the time runs out. ?BORING. ?The Emeralds wanted a chance to win on the field, and the Blasters wanted a chance to keep playing. ?Noone goes away happy. ?AND I WANT TO COMMEND THE EMERALDS - After it was tied up going into the bottom of the 7th, they did everything they could to try to score within the time limit instead of wasting the time away and taking an easy victory. ?

Congrats to SGS Magic Red for winning their A division! They have proven that they are the real deal and worth watching, don't you all think? I really look forward to Fostoria!

Does anyone know how the Sylvania Sharks Green did in the other A division?

Can someone please explain the format for this tourney ---Was there actually bracket play ? Seems like a alot of teams won this thing ???

Were the pools named A and B by experience/talent levels or just by draw ? Seems like the Magic won a pool , But the Blasters beat the magic, then we have the Lasers gold finishing ______ ??? But the Ind Thunder beat the Lasers ? Who actually played who in this event ? Is that too many questions in one paragraph ? MD
