i do know classics purple were 1-2 today, with losses to Nightmare and Slammers (so I guess I cant be too upset, losing to two of the best teams in 16u playing up)....I don't want to get anything wrong by saying who we beat, but I think it was Ohio Ice...then again, it was DD keeping track, not me...I'm stuck here in C-bus with little statguy and his t-ball mania

Hey, we haven't heard any more little statguy t-ball stories lately. Is he still tackling his teammates to get to the ball? ;& Man I miss those days.

Ohio Ice went 2-1 one with wins over Nightmare and a pittsburgh team ( sorry I forget there name ) . Our lose came to the classics.

thanks icedad for clearing that up...i'd hate to slight any of the "ice" brigade, or any of the many chill/frost/freezer/sleet or hail teams either!

"Laser" Orange went 4-1, Its been a long day, not sure who we played. All I know is we looked good I seen alot of good teams this weekend, I really enjoyed this and I thought the Akron Coaches and players did a nice job. First time to the U of Akron and I must say it is a very nice campus.

Statman, not to be petty, but Slammers are a 14u playing up. Heard Slammers went 4-1 for weekend losing in their last game to Fierce Fast Pitch. Victories came over Team Indiana(twice), Classics, and 4th team not know.

I saw the Slammers playing Sunday at the Tournament but I was unable to stay and watch. My daughter and her friends went to find them and said they had awesome pitching. They were the talk on the sidelines at a lot of the games that weekend. I know colleges wanted to see them play. Now I have to go see them. This will be my first time. Her friends said they looked really good! Good Luck Slammers, stay in the 16 & 18u where my daughter plays so I can watch you guys this year! Go Ohio!!!! :yahoo:
