I was just wondering if anyone has tried it and what they think about it. I have a parent on our team wanting to order their daughter one for christmas.

Any feedback is appreciated. Where is the cheapest place to buy it? Also, what bat is better the techzilla, or the rocket tech?

Thanks

the Tech Zilla is 1 step down from the Rocket tech , for example the Easton Havoc is 1 step down from the Easton Synergy

I think the Tech zilla is a balanced bat where the Rocket Tech is end loaded. My DD loves her RT!!! Good luck.

My teams have been using the Techzilla for several months now and they love it. It is well balanced and has a lot of pop in it. Check out the items for sale thread. I am selling these bats as well as others. I can get you a Techzilla for $240

My Younger DD (11u) has used a Techzilla since they came out last year. My older DD ( 18u) used a Rocketech. I think the new Techzilla has the same pop only in a balanced bat vs. a end loaded. We did have it replaced with a new one because the end cap came loose. But Anderson was great about the replacement and it only took about 1 week. We are extremely happy with it.

had a techzilla for about a year . IMO there is no step down from the TZ from the RT. It's just balanced instead of end loaded. My kid did'nt like the end loaded feel, but loves the TZ . plenty of pop.

Bro you are 100 percent wrong dont let the ugly pain job fool you its accually the same bat with the outter wall of the Rocket Tech on the inside. Pop the top off like DADDY and look inside. If your good enuff and have the correct equipment heat it to 300 degrees and mill the outer shell and LOOK OUT!

" I haven't met a bat yet that can hit the ball " - IMHO.

With that said - My daughter got a the Rocket Tech late last year. What a difference it made upon contact. She was always a solid hitter - It gave her more distance and more pop. Well worth the money if you can afford it and your daughter can hit. ;&

have her cup the knob with her pinky and ring finger and she will get more bat speed! Thats why the knob is undersized

Daddy, nice tip on the pinky, not so sure about the juiced bat though. Any other tricks? I did not like the sound of the Tech Z, but will say there's no drop off.

Since Im out of the bat doctoring business I will share some things. Many hear about people rolling composit bats and putting them into vices this is all a way for these guys to get your money. Take your composit bat and put a heavy sock over the barel. Then find a big tree or telephone pole and with three quarter adult swings beat it against the tree or pole. be sure to rotate it and it will need atleast 100 swings.

Then if you like it end loaded take one of those pots you deep fry the turkeys in and bring some water too a boil. Submerge the bats barrel into the water for one hour when finished stand the bat on the end cap for another hour and all the glue that holds the resin on the composit will melt and harden in the top.

If anyone tries to sell you a shaved fastpitch bat dont buy it this is only a technique that works in slow pitch. Older girls generate too much bat speed and the imact of the bat hitting a 50 mph pitch will crack the bat.

She has the silver and red RT already and likes it. Her mom asked me via e-mail for christmas what bt does do I think she would like. So I asked her and showed her the new RT, and the Tech zilla, she really like the thought of it being balanced and a ounce lighter. So we ordered the new 2010 which has a nicer paint job than the 2009. I just wanted to make sure it is a good performing bat, with pop.
