Any insight on the 2009 14U Tigertown Spring tournament held in May at Genshaft?

Another thread was trying to get this info also. sounds like mothers day weekend, which is usual for this tourney. But it has yet to become official I guess.

I asked a short while back and was told that it will be Mothers day weekend( Is that May 10th?) at Genshaft, but I have not been able to find any more info on it. I actuallu am hoping that it is a week or two later than may 10th! Like Memorial day weekend would be great!

this will be our 4th year attending in 2009 and each of the past 3 has been on mothers day weekend. Believe me, I know, as my wife (dd's stepmom) has reminded me each year.

Called about 1 week ago have not heard back. Rumor was they couldnt find fields were gonna push back??????????????

lol freeze. Though the girls, and parents, will never forget that one. Start in the dark with the lights on, finish with the sun up and the lights off. Wouldn't want it planned that way though. But it was an experience for sure. Hopefully they'll have this tourney and if they switch dates it will fit into our schedule. Is a great tourney. We'd hate to miss it.

The 10U / 12U / 14U Tiger Town Mother's Day Tournament WILL be held on May 8,9,10 Weekend. We did have a situation with the dates but everything is worked out! The tournament WILL be played at Genshaft Park and WILL be a 10U ASA Region 9 Qualifier will also be a 12U ASA Region 9 Qualifier for 2009 ASA Nationals. The 14U age bracket will be an ASA Eastern National Qualifier.


We have a tournament meeting set for December 11, 2008. I hope that very soon after that date we will have ALL the entry forms and information on our website for you to download.

There is no address as to where to send the forms back to. I looked everywhere and couldn't find it on the website or on the forms. You may want to post it here so folks know where to send these back to.

Annually this is a great tournament with very good competition!!

I know both the 14U MadDogs and Ohio Ice - Silver have sent applications in for the spring tourny. Both teams played late into the morning last year and had memories to last a lifetime. Hopefully, we get this one in before midnight.

Is there a limit on how many teams will be taken @ 14u?

The limit is usually around 32-34 total teams. So you could have 16 in the 14U and 12 in the 12U and maybe 6 in the 10U or any combination.
