Just wondering who will be attending the Music City Hits in Nashville this summer.

Team Akadema will be there. Suppose to have the website up and running next week and then after March 5th, they will post the teams coming. We have already booked our rooms. Looking forward to it. Great tournament.

Not this year, but at some point in the Heat '95 experience, we have to work this in. I've heard very good things about the tourney.

Miami Valley Xpress 18U- Brittingham will be there.
18U Gold Division

Great tournament, excellent fields, park and field maint.
Only complaint I have is Nashville Sports Council website shows event. Currently is "under construction" , has been since late last summer. Erin at MCH says it will be up soon, have yet to see it. We have I-75 projects that get done faster !! and that's not saying much....
Oh well.

Talked with Erin, she said they let the webpage subscription lapse, and some knucklehead came in bought it and he wont let it go...lol Price wasnt right I guess.

Of course, I should have mentioned that the Cincy Ice team will be attending. Rooms are reserved and I am scoping out the events in Nashville for the stay.

That always sounded like such a nice tournament. We never went because we always went to Sparkler and/or nationals. Have a great time.

Music City Hits is held at the beginning of the summer. Nationals are at the end.

Girls love the Wild Horse Saloon, go early, get reservations. They'll love line dancing, all that country boot shakin' stuff, food is pretty good. Rain Forest Cafe @ Opry Mills Mall, good time to visit college campuses, Vanderbilt, Belmont, Lipscomb,etc. all in Nashville. And of course OpryLand, and you gotta see the OpryLand Hotel, has a river inside with boat rides. ! Lots of great restaurants in Nashville, Ribs are Great !!

If you go to a show at the Opry and havn't been there before it's basicly part of a large mall-like complex and traffic going in and leaving is like being at a college football game. Be prepared to go early and leave late. Other than that, took the wife when we were playing there last year and she loved it. Tournament wise there were a fair amount of college coaches there including Miami of Ohio.

I agree Quakerman, nice park with a stream running beside it. Fly fishermen fishing for trout. Real tranquil, til fastpitch comes to town .
Pre-game warm up area's a little tight. Only bad field is the far back one, red clay, guaranteed to stain, I still have softballs with that red stain on them. It wont come out!!!Lord help you if your sliding !!!

The Cincy Static 18U will be attending this year. We attended with another organization last year. It is a fantastic tournament and the people who run it are top notch. They really do a fantastic job. Erin has been great to work with...tons of southern hospitality! Good luck to all of those teams that made it into this event!
