Hitting and Hitters Discussion hitting coach

I am sure it has been talked to death, but can anyone recommend a good hitting coach in central to south central ohio? DD is really struggling at the plate. Has been in a real slump and I can't figure out what she is doing wrong. She is a left slapper. But she can also hit away as well or bunt. She looks great in tee work and off the machine. Our machine throws baseball sized wiffle balls up to 60 mph and throws curves, drops, rise, and screw and also has a change up option. So it isn't like she is hitting down the middle of the plate. I am wondering if the wiffle balls are throwing her off? Anyway, can you recommend someone that works with lefties, maybe they can figure her out.

Pete Spoerl. He is with SWOBATS, north side of Cincinnati. He is trained by Howard Carrier.

Pete gives lessons in Plain City a couple of nights a week as well as in northern Cincy. My dd has been at his station during the last 2 Carrier/Bustos clinics and she gives him a big thumbs up, very nice man. She says he is very consistent and instructs the same style as Howard.

As Funsister pointed out. My dd and her dd both see Howard Carrier. Both had Pete as a hitting instructor in a recent clinic. Both gave him thumps up. My dd is a tough one to please, as she knows more than most coaches when it comes to hitting and works with me doing clinics. If she says Pete does a good job, you can believe it.

Another Pete S. recommendation.

You should be able to schedule time with him through All Stars Fast Pitch Academy in Columbus or SWOBATS down south. Pete has been working with my DD for about six months with great results. He adjusts his teaching very well to the specific areas where each hitter struggles.

Andrea Costa is another Howard Carrier teacher. When I asked Howard who he would send his child to if they were just starting he sent my DD to Andrea. She teaches at Champions.

She isn't just starting. She has been playing for 9 years. She is just struggling right now. It may even be mental I don't know. She got hit pretty bad last year and thought they cracked her arm. She hasn't hit well since that time. She ended up the season with a .246 BA. Like I said, her normal BA is around .421 but then last week she went 0 for 5 with a walk and hit by pitch. She struck out twice and grounded out 3 times. So she is getting the bat on the ball, just not hitting the holes like she used to. And last fall she struggled and went 2 for 9 with 7 strikeouts and 2 hits. I am just concerned because normally she has been lead off batter forever, and if she continues with this slump...?
