Findlay I think has 2 losses, lost and was no hit to Perrysburg, and lost to Archbold 10-1. Those are the losses I know of.

So if were both right they got at least 3 loses..

Uncle Bubba,

I don't think people are underestimating AW, I think they are waiting to see them. They haven't played in very many games this year. I believe that they are going to be right there at the end of the year fighting with Springfield and P'Burg for the NLL title. All three teams have great pitching and sometimes that is all you need to win a championship.

I am right there with my vote (8th), but I have to wonder why they fall out of the top 5. I am just curious as to why. The team has a solid cast of characters, with good pitching. I would think that the program itself would give them the benefit of the doubt over New Reigal, but I just could not justify it honestly in my own picks. Maybe it is lack of games, but again, benefit of the doubt should apply there.

My thought process regarding AW is this:

The lost some very good players and have some new players in their positions.

I agree with both Bubba and Heat that they will be in the mix. They will have a lot more opportunities to prove they are one of the top teams They basically have their whole NLL schedule with out of league games vs Clay, Whitmer, Archbold and NDA. If they win 90% of those games the will be top 3 and will probably leap frog a team like New Riegel.

That is why I have them rated as low as I do on my top 10, They have question marks and also have a real chance to answer the questions.

Its interesting most of top teams and others receiving votes will play each other, I think most of this will be sorted out on the field.

Don't get me wrong, I don't believe they have earned a top 5 spot yet. However, usually someone goes out there and gives it to a team like this based on the quality of the program. This tells me that either they are really not that good, or they are just getting no love based on circumstances. Basically, who is AW this year? Are they the diamond in the rough, or the cubic zirconium in the weeds?

They will be intresting for sure. Do they think they need to change philosophies after years of relying on the homerun, or are they going to utilize the newcombers speed to manufacture runs. I am anxious to see.

I think when all is said and done they will finish second in the NLL.

My thoughts behind putting New Riegel above AW is that NR is standing the test of time (and games) right now. AW hasn't gotten very many games in yet and the more wins they accumulate, the higher they'll climb in my list.

I have a hard time allowing a teams reputation carry too much weight after the 1st and 2nd week of the season. I know what AW is capable of, but I want to see how they're replacing kids and if they're going to put up the W's consistently.

Was just informed today that P.Burg DOEs NOt want to Reschedule with SUA

Imagine that;&....that's just too bad..would of been a very good game too
