There are openings for two 12u teams and a one 10u team at the Ohio Lady Liberty "Summer Slam", which will be at Fryer Park in Grove City, June 5-7, 2009. The tournament is an ASA "A" Eastern National Qualifier and is a 4-game guarantee with a double-elimination format.

I was the coach last year and this season we had one through the fall, and some girls bounced for another team. Started over and once again a couple left for the name of another program. I didnt want to throw girls out there to the wolves, just to field a team. It wouldnt be fair to the girls to go with a few strong players and some bodies that fill a roster spot so I let the 4 others find other teams, and took both my DDs some where else. Mabey they will be able to get one going next year, they run a good program for the girls to learn and grow as ladies and players.

Schedules will be e-mailed early next week, am waiting through the weekend for one more 10u team. Games will begin on Friday, June 5 at 4:00 p.m.
