New 10U team for Ohio Lady Liberty Organization

My name is Ben Rutan and I am the head coach for the new Ohio Lady Liberty 10U softball team. This is the first year that the Ohio Lady Liberty is offering a 10U team and I wanted to provide some details about our organization and our outlook on the upcoming season. We are located in Commercial Point and practice in the surrounding areas near Grove City. We have our very own indoor, climate controlled batting facility that we call Liberty Field. It is a 1,200 sq. foot, two cage facility that offers a multitude of batting tees, pitching machines, and technology mounted within the facility walls for instant feedback when synced with a tablet or an Ipad device. Its a great way for our teams to better prepare for the summer season while indoors during the fall, winter, and spring months. We have our own Sports Board that runs the organization on a day to day basis. It is a deeply rooted organization that is super excited about starting its 10U branch of softball! As far the 10U team goes, we wanted to provide some information on what we are planning on doing for the upcoming season. As a new 10U team, we want a group of girls that will form a core group that will move from age group to age group while learning the game and competing at the highest level of competitive softball. For the 10U team, we are looking to compete in 5-6 tournaments starting in late May through July. As most of the girls are new to the travel softball scene at the 10U level, we want them to develop a passion for the game and their teammates without becoming "burnt out" by the time the season is over. Which is why we are looking to stay in Central Ohio for all of our tournaments. We value a good night's rest in the comfort of our own homes with our families. We want this to be a great experience not only for your daughter, but for the parents as well. We want girls who are ready to compete, who are coachable, and who want to win all while being outstanding teammates who will represent our team and organization with class. We have a tryout on Sunday, August 17th from 10:00 am till noon at Teays Valley West Middle School in Commercial Point, Ohio. Follow the signs all the way to the back and get ready to compete!
