So do you have any favorite players yet ? and why ? I like Francesa Enea for the gators for the way she swings the bats. Total body effort into the swing. Also the LF for Michigan , she looks like she came right out of Howard Carrier's garage. I like Stacy Nelson , that girl is enjoying the game and the moment. Alabam's SS is fun to watch also. MD Go Gators !

Danielle Lawrie for U Dub is also a gamer.

If it is Wash and Fla in the finals they may play 3, 1-0 games old school style....

MD, I like the gators. I was hoping the Buckeyes would be there. Since they are not I will be pulling for Stacy Nelson, she is da' bomb. I can see a Florida - Washington final being a pitchers duel for the record books.

they finally started calling illegal pitches against the georgia pitcher. its about time but too late for teams they played yesterday. of all the games ive seen, she is the only one consistently outside the line..

You were close regarding the Michigan player...She came out of the garage of Leon Woods another RVP specialist from NW Ohio!

I'm rootin' for Washington (family there, lived there awhile too), but I have to say Florida is tough (Nelson is the real deal)....just can't get myself to support the Gators though...sorry Crush1....old grudges die hard..lol

Leon and I work very closely as he has been to our house and he and Jerry Breaux have worked clinics Crystl and I do.

I was introduced to Leon and Jerry in 2004 by Don Slaught who both sold RVP soft ware at his booth.

He has some great hitters and one was his daughter!

Personally, I'm so tired of hearing that Michigan is the only team east of the Mississippi to ever win the championship that I'll root for any team that is east. So, it looks like I'll need to root for Florida this time...

Bear it is difficult to argue with Hutches results since she changed her approach to hitting in 2004. Leon Woods went up there and helped her out and set up the RVP system. If other coaches would follow her lead she may not be the only one East of the Mississippi to win it. There are many who claim they are teaching what she teaches however in my opinion they are taking short cuts and claiming they are doing what she does and they are not. She has a good program and gets top recruits to go there in snow country verses PAC 10 and SEC.

For me, I really liked the CF from Georgia, Schlope and 3b from Bama Rodgers. I love versatile players, who talk and communicate, who openly enjoy the game, does whatever is needed for the team at any moment, and inspires those around her. That is my kind of player! Wish I could watch at least one of those girls in the Ship.

My favorite player for the Series thus far is Mendoza, which is commentating. Kruk is great to listen too. Oh yeah, the collegiate player of the year ain't bad.

My fav Enea looked awful last night --diving across the plate like she was 100% certain they were going away on every pitch. She got busted in with several pitches that looked like strikes but blue gave her a break on. Florida's approach was mind boggling last night. Took a billzillion early count strikes, and never adjusted. I keep thinking it's going to be like Tenn not adjusting at all to Mowatt's change. MD
