FYI to anyone concerned about the park. We hosted our first tournament there this past weekend. Yes, there is still construction, but the fields are fantastic. Plenty of porta potties and a nice trailer concessions between field 2 and 3. Gate fee is set by the park, not the teams hosting the tournament, so remember that when you feel mad about paying to get in to the park. However, you do receive coupons for $2.00 of concessions which reduces the entry fee.

The injunction of the lights did not effect our tournament as we did not play late enough to have to utilize the fields.

Not sure why you haven't received your pools from this tournament, but you will enjoy the fields!

I agree with feisty.. about the fields. I have been there for some beer-ball games and the fields are SWEET.

Are they using temp 200' fences for the JO tournaments would be my only question. Both of our 14u teams are playing there this weekend and there is nothing worse than the roling HR. LoL

Only one 200 foot field, field 8. Be ready for long rollers on all others.

Drove by the fields around 11:45pm last night with my car being brought back home from AAA (dang thing died.......again). Heading west bound all the lights were on and I took a look at the movie screen to the west,which was still showing a flick.
Yeah those lights do cause a problem for the screen. Hate to say that but it does make a difference.

I assume this tournament is at the new complex? Would like to run out there to watch some games.
