June 21-23, 2024 Bucket Bonanza Showcase Tournament. TOURNAMENT FORMAT for brackets.
LIMITING FIELD FOR 2024 ... HURRY.
Where: N. Ridgeville area (Victory Sports Park, Shady Lane, LaGrange) and Newton Falls area (LAC, Candlelight Knolls).
Divisions: 8u, 10u, 12u, 14u, 16u, 18u, & 23u
Cost: $300 (8u), $500 (10u), and $660 (12/14/16/18/23u)

- 8u: 4 gg – 3 pool play followed by single elimination
- 12/14/16/18u: 6 gg – 5 pool play followed by single elimination
- 10/23u: 5 gg – 4 pool play followed by single elimination
- Expect PP to begin Friday at 7:45 AM
- PP games Friday & Saturday
- Elimination games begin as early as Saturday afternoon and by Sunday AM.
- College coaches invited so 14/16/18u

College Coaches: We are inviting over 400 universities and expect to stream from some showcase fields.
Information/Rules:
- 10u, 12u, 14u, 16u, 18u & 23u
- 7 innings or 75 minutes finish the inning
- 8u rules to be posted (typical) - 1 ump
- May combine 16/18u
- Younger divisions should expect to play in Warren area
- Older divisions should expect to play in North Ridgeville area
- Championship games are 7 innings or 85 minute finish the inning
- Two certified umpires as availability permits
- Metal cleats allowed for 14u & up
- Can bat roster all weekend. Roster used for start of bracket play must not change for remainder of event.
- Run rules of 12, 10, 8 after 3, 4, 5 … or 12 runs after 45 minutes
- Latest USA rules apply
- Pitching distances: 43’, 40’, and 35’ based on division.
- Home team determined by coin flip for PP
- Highest seed is home team for elimination play. If same seed, then coin flip.
- 1B safety bags will be in place and batters are expected to use orange bag and avoid contact.
- Umpire discretion calls cannot be protested.
- $100 protest fee, payable in cash before protest permitted
- Pitchers get 3 warm-up pitches in each inning. A new pitcher gets 5.
- Courtesy runners may be used for pitchers/catchers.
- Teams must quickly exit the field to make room for the next team.
- Home team to keep official book and visiting team to confirm accuracy.
- PP games can end in a tie.
- Elimination will start Saturday, or at latest, Sunday morning
- Check in one hour before 1st game to verify attendance. Need: 1) Insurance copy, 2) Roster signed by Manager, 3) Birth Certs in case of challenge (not collected)
- Check in materials to be emailed (pdf, etc.)
- Refund Policy: Driven by complex rental fees, even with rain outs. Started games will be considered played. Refunds are per: 0 played=full fee minus $375, 1 played=full fee minus $575, 2 or more=$0 (based on full fee). No refunds with 4 months of event.
- Individual awards for 1st and 2nd place finishers ... plan is 8u medals, 10u & up get amazing rings
- Team awards for 1st and 2nd place finishers ... huge trophies for older divisions
- REGISTRATION NOT COMPLETE until payment received.
- Once full, teams will be added to wait list and registered teams will be given notice to pay to retain spot. Teams unpaid after reasonable notice might be replaced with wait-listed team so we can begin working on schedule as early as possible.
