Anybody at Berliner can post their update or thoughts here.

I'm watching a 10u game and the field ump is already an idiot. He already missed one at first because he was watching the girl score at home from his position behind short stop. He asked the plate ump for help at first. Plate ump said sorry I was watching MY play. He called her safe because he didn't see it.

Ringer, Just wondering if they chalked in batters boxes this tournament? Last time we were at Berliner that was our only complaint. How's the weather? My dd is there playing w/ Chain Reaction 16U.

$5.00 a day...$15.00 for a weekend pass. Not a popular subject with the parents, but most of it I think is standard for Berliner Tournaments.

We don't live around there. But the thread that started from the showdown we attended said that those parking passes could not be used. I don't know about this tournament though.

Ohio Wave 14U won 12-1

Wave 10U: 2

DD took out the diamond divas pitcher with a shot back up the middle. Luckily is was in the gut. She still had to he carried off but it could have been much worse. No mask. They had there players playing halfway up the line. 3rd basemen did not even move when a line drive just missed her head. She didn't move until it was in the grass. Again no mask.

accidents are more likely at tournies like this where Team A doesn't know Team B's big hitters , --at least when playing in state tournies teams have the good sense to give the bigger hitters some room at 3rd .

I've seen teams squeeze our big hitters and just pray that disaster doesn't happen . It's insane not to have the 3rd baseman wear a mask when demanding she take away the bunt IMO MD

I don't know why parents don't spend the extra $40 on a face mask. It is so worth the price when a DD gets hit in the grill and just shakes it off.

We got both our DDs the Rip It and they foret they have it on. Worth the money, seen two girls get nailed at third this year and weigh the 40 bucks against the damage. NO CONTEST.

We are happy with this tourney. Good Job Bill ! Fields in great shape, 18U umps are very good. Weather has been awesome so far too. Competition at the 18U is very good.

rays13u fell 4-3 . Was down 3-0 in the 6th , K koch goes yard to tie it, other team got 1 in the 7th. Rays left runners on 2nd and 3rd in the 7th. MD Was told top 2 seeds don't play on sat after their last pool play game ?
