Just for kicks, who are the new teams this year?

I'm more curious as to the new Org's or upstart teams more so than the new teams within a org unless you've never had an 10u, 18u, etc. Just so we can see where you are out of and say hello and can't wait to meet up on the weekends.

Also helps us network and setup scrimmages and such. :cap:

Explosive Fastpitch out of Strongsville is a new organization with 10u through 18u. Former or current college players in the coaching positions. Can't wait to see what they can do!

You could consider us a new upstart for 2010. We plan to be a full travel program attending tournaments and league. We did exist in 2009, but in a league only function. The program is intended to be a feeder program for both Sylvania Southview and Sylvania Northview (similar to what Maumee Thunder has accomplished) For 2010 we have the following teams:

10U
two 12U teams
two 14U teams

Steve Kyle is the brains behind the organization and we are fully supported by Sylvania Recreation. Please wish us luck and success moving forward in developing a good program!

congratulations for taking the steps necessary to make you HS better.

We can get on here and talk about all the travel and championships and college ex poser we want, but there is nothing like seeing a group of kids from 1 school take the travel ball experience and turn it into a state title run.

No one from a community cares about the asa/usa national finishes, but take a run at a state HS title and every where you go people congratulate the girls

good luck

Good luck this coming seson and I agree with Coach McQueen... it is always a great thing to feed the high school teams. There is a lot of nice tournaments up your way this year.. including the 10u and 12u ASA State Tournament in Fostoria.

I'll put the bullseye on Robinson and Murph, Championship Fastpitch 14u have a nice team. No pressure with a name like that.

I havent heard anything about the Orioles since tryout dates. Website is not much help. Were they actually able to field any teams?
The depth of the talent with Explosive is surprising for a brand new, untested organization. They should fair well in tournaments.
The Arrows will have success in the leagues they play in as well.

Orioles reported this on another ofc page.

The Lady Orioles have 2 teams this year. A 14u and a 16u. The 16u roster is full up but a spot on the 14u roster has opened up. If you are interested please contact me and we can set up a personal tryout. We are looking for a utility player. The pitchers and catchers positions are filled. Thanks for your inquiry!
