The ASA Maple Leaf has moved from Burton to North Ridgeville. Same great tournament and all the fields are at a single location, the Shady Drive Complex. Not to be confused with the OSP, this is a different set of fields.

The Cinderella Classic (July 16-18) will be at this same location as well. These are great fields and facilities.

HEH , flush toilets and decent concessions will be a great change....for some reason when ever DD played @ the Maple Leaf we always had fields with very poorly maintained outhouses....ugh....

LUVFPSB... I agree, porta-johns are the worst. Went to a tourney in Painsville area last year and they had padlocks on all of them and no one could find the key to open them for the girls. LoL

This has always been a nice venue and the city keeps making it better. I understand that they will be expanding the park by another 20 acres. Not sure what that land is designated for just yet though.

If you go to the tournament page (www.BreakersFP.org/tourn) you will see a link next to the tournament name for "Teams Entered". Click on that and that will show you the teams. I try to update it often, but with the holidays I may be a little behind.

Thanks! I have always liked the place and the city is committed to making it better. Rumor has it that they just bought an additional 22 acre parcel that is adjacent to the park for future expansion.

The park is easy to get to off of I480/10 at route 83.

Met with the folks that take care of the park today. Boy have they been busy making improvements. Here are just a few that stood out to me:

- NO MORE PORTA JOHNS They have two restrooms facilities and a third under construction that will be completed in May. This is nice, you now have a real restroom close to you no matter what field you're playing on.

- THREE concession stands Three concession stands, one on each end (far end is under construction) of the complex for drinks and snacks and the big one in the middle that is full service.

- MORE parking area They have made more area for parking in the front of the park. This is huge since the front fields always had to walk a bit to there car.

This just keeps getting better and better.

I heard that there is a $5 per person not per car charge to enter the complex. Is this true?

What complex are you referring to? We have a parking fee only. You can cram as many people as you like into one vehicle. LoL

The 10u & 16u divisions are now full. We still have room for 1 more 18u two 12u and one 14u
