Some good teams have been mentioned, The 12's are wide open this year, I think it will take a little time for the 12's to take shape. There does appear to be some depth this year though. Hopefully all these teams will get out to play one another.

Thanks sbfamily for the very kind words and you also pcaba-coach. We will be working hard to keep up with all our goals and your goals, sounds like we have our work cut out for us. I would like to say that there are a few teams we have played already that are also very tough - Nitro - extremely nice team and well coached, Ohio Hawks - nice team, Ohio Wave Stone will be a very nice team and well coached, HOH Inferno - always tough. This is just mentioning a few we have played so far, I know there are many more out there. Best of luck to all the teams, coaches and parents this year. Anyone that is involved in travel ball is a winner in one way or another, for the most part, there are a few bad apples but you have them anywhere.

Wow Danger, you stayed up late last night working on that list, Lol..........I'm impressed. Pretty good list, I would add the Ohio Glory and Dragons 97. Both Classics teams will be pretty good 11u and 12u. Both Laser teams would have to be considered (Orange and Red). I'd love to hear more from our northern friends, we all know Ice will be good, but what about the Toledo area, Youngstown, etc. What about Valley extreme, Fast Wizards,The 12U division really looks pretty open right now. I think any list should include more teams from the North. Good list though.

I still think that the team to beat might just be the Ohio Ice Mike and Dan have done a great job with this team. It also dont hurt to have maybe the best leadoff power hitter at that age Not to mention she is also one of the best 12u pitchers out there.

I would say in that Yongstown, Warren area the older 12u Thunder Elite will be tough.
Solid pitching staff back from last year and powerful catcher wit nice arm (Taught by Bill and Kelly @ the Maddogs)

We also had a chance to play the ohio power solid all around team nothing really sicks ut just solid top o bottom.

I agree WWolff, however this list shapes up, I too believe the Ice will be at or near the very top. Very good team that doesn't make many mistakes.

the one thing i am pretty sure of is there is definately some parity in 12u this year i could name off atleast 8-10 teams that could end up being best in state for 12u but all that gets decided by 12 yr olg girls work ethic and ability to step up in big games.definately know that we(ohio glory) are really trying to find tournys where all these teams are playing not out of vein but i believe there are enough talented 12u teams this year that win or lose if we can get in tournys with all these teams it will only make all our teams stronger they need to be playing each other to develop.we are finalizing our tournys in next few weeks would like to know how many of 12u teams are planning on attending asa states?and what tornys some of you are going to.thought it was cool to see last year asa easten nationals 3 of top 5 were ohio teams classics sting doom.and definately will be looking for friendly s from anyone may contact me

This is going to be a good year for the 12s. I cant wait to get the girls in the dirt to see how these teams all stack up to eachother. 97' Vipers will be in the mix somewhere

Please take a look at it and if we have a weekend off at the same time maybe we can get together, us, and maybe a few others and do a little friendly. will do definately into the scrimmaging thing i always wonder why teams dont do more of this.you can get 4 to 6 teams together to play a round robin type invite the teams you want to come to keep competition very strong.pay a little fee for umpires only and at the end of day no trophy just the satisfaction and knowledge that you got better today that is really what it is all about we are going to do a couple of these this year will definately let you know.we could do one by us and one by you or whatever.i just like the idea of it.dont get me wrong i like to go attempt to win a trophy once in a while but would like to play competitive softball and get some extra innings in you may call me jason anytime at 1 740 497 0501

I am fortunate to have a group of nice kids who want to learn & are dedicated. We have been working hard all fall/winter as we have a lot of things to work on. Some fine detailed information on the 2010 12U class from all above! Look's like an exciting spring awaits us. Are there any major tournaments in April/May where many of these teams will compete with eachother?
