ASA Tournament Tournaments in Massillon

Looking for information on the two tournaments (Tigertown ??) that were usually held in Massillon at Genshaft park. One was in May and the other in early June. Does anyone know if those tournaments will be held this year. Thanks.

i believe these tourney's are ran by massillon washington high school booster club not the wolfpak. might want to look up high school under softball

The Mothers Day tournament in May is run by the Massillon Tiger Softball Booster Club. The reason for the delay is we have had some turnover in your booster club and we have new people running the booster club this year. The Wolfpack does NOT run this tournament. I am the head softball coach at Massillon thus people think the two go hand in hand.

To answer the second part of your question.... The Massillon softball booster club & the Wolfpack will co-sponsor the June Tournament this year. In the past we (Massillon) has not had enough people to work the tournamet so we have joined forces to host this tournament this June. Again I hope to have the entry information up on our website www.eteamz.com/massillontigersoftball/ by the end of the week!

Did Genshaft park get sold? I thought it was for sale last year while the Tigertown was being held.

I've heard that it was for 4 years now. DD played there 4 years ago and they said it was the last tournament there. But has been there every year since. ??????????

Genshaft is not allowed to be sold. It is my understanding that in the original sale years ago that a stipulation was put in that it can only be used for recreational purposes so there for thats why the city cant sell it and teams get to keep coming back every year to play ball.

Ok....Sorry this has taken So Long!!!

The 10U, 12U & 14U Mother's Day Tournament is ready to be downloaded. Please go towww.eteamz.com/massillontigersoftball/ and go to the Tournament Download Tab and then you find the entry forms or you can also find them on www.eteamz.com/ohiowolfpack/ Go to the handouts tab on the side of the page then scroll down near the bottom and click on the 2010 Mother's Day Tournament.

Just like in the past this tournament is hosted the Massillon High School Softball Booster Club. I put the entry forms on my Wolfpack Web Site because our High School web site was not working properly, but now they are available on both sites.

ALL proceeds go to the Massillon Softball Booster Club Inc. and is then spent on the girls that play softball at Massillon Washington High School.

Yes there is a tournament being held in Massillon that weekend. The Wolfpack will be hosting the 18U ASA National Qualfier. You will be able to download that entry from www.eteamz.com/ohiowolfpack/ go to handouts. It is NOT posted yet but will be up by this weekend!

I believe someone within my High School Booster Club is responsible to post those teams as they come in. I believe he will try to post teams tomorrow 2/3/10
