I got the Vendetta in the beginning of the softball year and i loved it.After a few months it started to crack and there would be no pop and I wouldn't hit.I have seen 4 other bats like mine that have done this.:)

Demarini sent us a replacement bat - It broke this past weekend after only two tournaments - The replacement bat has the words " Warranty replacement bat - No replacement " stamped in it - I might have a rough time getting it replaced again.

Yea, but she does hit hard.

My DD loves her easton synergy. I am waiting for it to change colors.

The vendetta we received as a replacement has the words NO RETURN etched in the barrell. So far no problems with new one.

One of my friends has had a vendetta and the other a synergy. My friends vendetta started to crack and she had only had it for half a season. My other friend had the synergy loved it and the she hit a homerun and it cracked all the way up the bat and they are waiting for a replacement.

I bought this Worth Hybrid bat to get my DD through the last few games. Her previous bat she was complaining about vibration and stinging. got some good hits with it but but has a weird sound to it, not the "pop" you typically hear with an aluminum barrel. Anybody have any experience with this bat? We've got fall ball coming up but am currently investigating other bats.

Couple months ago, bought the Vendetta and playing fall ball and hitting a lot in practice. So far no cracks but seems to have minimal sweetspot and no pop. Is there a break-in period???

What about the Mizuno Shadow? New bat for 2010. I'm not really looking at spending the extra money for a composite bat at this time.

Been using the Vendetta for fall and winter leagues, plus hitting practice. So far, pleased with the results, got a lot of pop. Seems like it took the fall league to break it in.

We have a Vendetta as well as the new Miken rain. The Vendetta has a small sweet spot and not a whole lot of pop. The Miken Rain on the other hand, wow! Lots of pop and a big sweet spot.

My DD is not a very powerful hitter but does manage to get a little more on the ball using the Rain.

Probably would have bought the Miken Rain Light. I got the Vendetta right before the -12 Rain Light came out. I heard it is a nice bat.

Between the Vendetta or the Crystal, I'd say the Vendetta. Hopefully they have made some improvements to the Vendetta from a durability standpoint though, as there have been numerous reports of them breaking off at the handle near the barrel.

Miken bats are excellent in my opinion, and would be my choice over the two bats in question. The bigger sweet spot you have mentioned is something Miken calls ESD, or Extended Sweetspot Design.

I saw a few girls using the Miken Rain bats, did a check swing and put the ball out in the outfield. Pretty impressive. My DD put this bat on her wish list! Right now she's using the Vendetta and pretty happy with it. Seems like it has a decent sweet spot but will upgrade to a Miken when the time comes.

Most composite bats have durability issues, especially the -11 and -12 bats. Most of the time it is due to too many handle shots. The composites just can't handle the jam shots.

That's what I've been told but my DD needs the -11 or -12. I was also looking at this bat. Combat 2010 Lisa Fernandez -12 Fastpitch Softball Bat. Any comments on this bat?

My DD had the Vendetta last year. She liked it but it broke in half at the handle. I thought she was ready to move up to a heavier bat so I sold the replacement Vendetta and bought her a 30/20 CF3. The 30/20 CF3 is a balanced bat and she never mentioned it felt heavy in comparison to the Vendetta. Further the CF3 has much more pop, a larger sweet spot, and is a more durable bat. When she switched bats she had just turned 11 and is petite weighing about 75 lbs. She has had a lot of hitting instruction, and a solid swing, and had no problem with the heavier 30/20.

If you want to stick with a -12 or -11 drop I would recommend the Miken. I have also heard good things about the Rip it Foxy.
