Rain is making things interesting again. Hard for teams to go back inside and practice after playing an entire season outside. Tournament games getting pushed back do not allow you to pick up a game or scrimmage to stay fresh between tournament games. Of course, some teams benefit from injured players getting some rest. How is the rain affecting your team, if you are still in the tournament?

So how do we find new schedules for the rainouts? Pickerington Central to be exact?

rain forecasted next 3 days....YUCK!!! There is still 2 sectional games to be played before our semi's are finalized and we still have 3 league games to play. This will affect travel ball for us b/c our coach will make up those HS games...double YUCK!!!

The kids we have doing double sports such as Synchronized Swimming and Competitive Kayaking are enjoying these days off from softball.;&

Well, it is giving me more gray hairs wondering whether we can field a complete roster for the Memorial Day tournament in Dayton. We've got two still in the HS tournament and we only carry 11 players.

It's my fault - dd is about to return after surgery and my rain dance has been very effective in getting league games postponed.

dd's high school team ended up playing last night, in a steady rain and driving wind (right in the face of the pitchers). Got the whole game in (luckily ended in 5 innings due to run rule).

I had the NFL Films theme song playing in my head as I watched.

Great weather to damage your ERA too (three runs in this game alone, and she had only given up 9 the entire rest of the season).

We had not had a rainout all year until just recently. Supposed to play Districts today & tomorrow, not looking good after a rainout yesterday also .... wonder how they will get everything in if it compresses??

Maybe have a weekend state tournament, 55 minute games, drop dead & revert back?

Seriously, I travel for my job, and this is making work unpredictable ... getting tough calculating when/where/how to fit work into the softball schedule somewhere, lol.

D2 SW postponed at Waynesville today. If it should get rained out again tomorrow and CJ has Baccalaureate Thursday would they postpone till Friday? Does anyone have an opinion on Waynesville's field? For CJ and Valley View I think both teams would have preferred someplace a little more centrally located, this place is well outside the sphere of teams in our sectional.
