Has anybody seen the Intensity play since Akron this winter ? If so, give some updates.

Yes, the team is together and steps out for some friendlies this weekend as a tuneup. Should be fun! ^_^!

I will only say this. Both pitchers absolutely dominated as Freshman. The supporting cast (i believe 5-6) in HS, others still 8th graders had successful Varsity debuts including a couple batting over .500 with several bombs each, and a couple others batting between .300 -.400 .

And not to slight our 8th graders as they ALL are MAJOR players to this team.

Only TEAM activity since Akron was at Ohio Hawks SWOBAT indoor against 14,16 & 18s went 5-0 in strong victories back in early Feb.

I am surprised that EMR (13U Barrett) did not get any votes this week after their initial showing at the Spring Blast last weekend. They were an excellent team at 12U & will do well at in the 14 age group.

I thought EMR calls home as Harrison Ohio. Coach has a 513 (Ohio) area code.

EMR Plays primarily OH Tournaments, I see them as OH, but it's all about how they list themselves. They participated in the CINI METRO ASA/USA Berth last year, so I think technically they had to be justified as a Cinci Metro team as I know other teams outside Cinci Metro wanted to play and could not. INTERESTING????

the cyclones out of north jackson ohio should be on this list soon just played first tournament this weekend won the championship,and gave up just one run all weekend

EMR is listed in the 14u ASA State tourney list of teams. When I saw them, I immediately thought of this poll and how they have been viewed as a Indiana team.

I've never understood whether EMR is an Ohio or Inidiana team, but the most important thing is to beat them in Ohio play, thus eliminating any problem. That's not an easy proposition, for sure. But if EMR can beat the Ohio teams, I think the question of their "place of origin" becomes secondary.

For me, it is less about where they come from but where they play mostly which is in the same tourneys as most of the OH teams play in & they play very few that the Indy teams play in. For me given their location, I think they should be included in this poll - given it is just for fun. They do have quite a few OH girls.

Not sure how you can actually rank these teams without seeing some of them. Some of these teams have freshman playing high school varsity who can't even play yet... Just saying..

From what I saw this weekend," no offense to EMR" but they were a level below the team's at the metro this weekend. Some of the best 14u game's i've seen, seem like every game went too ITB. Laser's black, doom, Mt.thunder, Indy Blast, buckeye heat, clearly cut above the rest. Anyone of those team's were capable of beating the other. Team with the least amount of mistake's and capable of executing at key moment's came out on top. Any of the team's that did'nt win have nothing too hang head's about, awesome game's play here play there they could have been in winner's circle what a field. Good tournament laser's black. Championship fastpitch is definately a top 10 team.
